creating a mirror image

How to create a 'mirror' image in photoshop:

1. Open the image that you want to use in photoshop
2. Find out the image size and extend down.
3. Copy the image on to the same layer 
4. Flip vertically (or horizontal) 
5. Add a layer mask and use the black brush to brush out anything that you don't want in the image
6. Play round with the opacity if you want to.
